Hello there!
I'm Mary Kristine Wallace

I do puppet fabrication/ model making and stop motion animation. As a kid, I was glued to the TV. I loved watching cartoons (and still do!). Some of my favorite movies are Corpse Bride, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Clueless, and The Nightmare before Christmas.

My senior project, a stop motion short, called Frosting Factory was my first dive into stop motion. I realized that I can make puppets move. It was amazing! I received my bachelors degree in animation from The University of Saint Francis (Fort Wayne, IN) in May 2021. I am an Alumni of the Aardman Academy (Model Making: June 2021, Stop Motion 1:  September - December 2022, and Stop Motion 2: January - April 2023). I also completed a WIA (Women in Animation) mentorship circle (Puppets for Stop Motion Animation: A Proactive Guide to the Making Process October 2024 - February 2025).  I'm been a WIA member since 2022.

I'm trying to "get my foot in the door" of the stop motion animation industry. When I’m not animating or watching TV, I’m usually drinking some tea or iced coffee!
